Patoyo through Carsten’s eyes
Always nice to see something from someone else’s perspective. More of Carsten’s pics.
The new hut explodes like a mushroom after a good rain. The second floor/attic will become my own space, underneath for eating area, a kitchen for an extension, the roof of which will act as a terrace where I could sleep under the open stars.
Progress continues, with a good, robust crowd.
Patoyo guest pics
Some German volunteers passing through with really nice cameras. Most of them by Wolfgang at http://www.wohlfilmen.de/.
The first project continues, but the trade winds change and become impossible to endure, among other matters. The lack of internet was certainly a problem, and because of the fierce new winds we had to climb over a mountain ridge for food and other supplies.
Before the dream.
Some pictures as I was making my way towards the dream island. Then again, this whole area is somewhat of a dream, 85,000 readers of one famous travel magazine voting Palawan the best island in the world, two years in a row!
Sunsets and Sunrises
Sunrises from Patoyo island, our first operation, sunsets mostly from the second. But if you go just around the corner of our new project, you can catch some pretty nice rises too!
Some pictures of the journey before I finally found Patoyo island. A beautiful island, but conditions were not right for me to stay there.
Patoyo Sports Nature Camp
Scenes of our progress in developing this paradise. All in a natural way.
